We love visiting and taking inpiration from new places. We also love good coffee and cakes and we aim to plan out trips with that in mind.
Iwona Piasecka
Born and raised in Poland, Iwona moved to Scotland in 2012 and fell in love with its history and nature. She always had a creative side but never had the chance to seriously consider it as a path in her life. She would admire local art exhibitions thinking that this was something she would love to be doing.
In 2019, when her family life and her career in language tutoring stopped being so hectic, she finally found courage to get some canvas and paint tubes and do it. Since then, she has been trying to depict the beauty of Scottish landscape and nature. She joined Ayr Sketch Club in 2022, with hope to develop her skills and get inspiration from other, more experienced artists.
Her watercolour and acrylic paintings are full of night skies, greenery, trees, flowers, and unmistakable Ayrshire vistas.

My photographic practice centers on nightscape, landscape, and nature photography. I find profound inspiration in the outdoors, whether it’s a tranquil beach walk, a solo hike, or a ‘micro-trip’ with my wife.
My artistic path was significantly shaped after moving to Scotland from Poland in 2010. Scotland provided an unexpected wellspring of inspiration – immersing myself in its raw beauty rekindled my passion for photography, transforming a cherished hobby into a central part of my life. The proximity to the sea and the stunning landscapes on my doorstep became an irresistible call to pick up the camera once more
I would like to share my joy of photography with you, show you the stunning sky, the sunsets, the hills, the lochs, the history and the nature that I get to see and am amazed by every day. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
